Salary: £45-55k + bonus
Location: Warrington
A local mortgage broker looking to expand their team with an employed Bridging Underwriter, they are offering a strong package and progression options.
Experience needed for the role as a Bridging Underwriter:
- Minimum 2 years' Mortgage Underwriter experience
- Ideally some experience with development and bridging underwriting
- Hands-on knowledge of loan processing systems
Duties as a Bridging Underwriter include:
- Underwrite loan applications in line within credit policy
- Ensuring all details are correct and in line with regulations, escalating any fraudulent activity
- Recommends loans to the Underwriting Director and Credit Team where they fall outside of the lending mandate held
- Help coach a team of Underwriters
- Participating in improving systems and processes
- Keeping up to date with any regulation changes
