An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a high performing and dynamic front line Brokerage team within Adult Social Care (ASC).
The successful candidate will be responsible for negotiating a wide range of value for money social care services including Domiciliary care and Nursing/Residential placements for adult social care customers. You will broker individual services to meet the assessed needs of customers and to support the safe and timely discharge of customers from hospital as well as those from the community.
You will have the opportunity to develop and enhance working relationships with key partners and external providers using your first class communication and negotiation skills to ensure individual customers assessed needs are met and to continuously support a sustainable local Adult Social Care market.
Using your numerical and problem solving skills you will resolve complex invoice and care package queries whilst working under pressure with daily work.
This is a hybrid working team, working 3 days in the office Monday - Wednesday and 2 days at home.
Good knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word is required.
