In this key exciting role, you'll be based in Stone, Staffordshire where you will take ownership and personal accountability for project managing the commercial, contractual aspects with a high attention to detail. You will enjoy a high level of engagement with the wider team and external stakeholders. The culture is a fast-paced environment where no 2 days are the same. You'll co-ordinate, multi-task and manage every detail of the prestigious portfolio of projects from implementation through to final completion and customer sign off.
The Role
Implementing projects within the area of Substation Automation Service.
Manage the assigned projects from the initial handover from sales to the successful completion of all on-site work.
Coordinate an international project team and oversee the efficient use of allocated resources.
As the key point of contact, you will embrace an open and proactive approach to communication in your efforts to ensure maximum customer satisfaction.
Drawing on your business expertise, you will manage the customer contract and take full responsibility for all commercial and contractual aspects of the project.
Your Background
Proven track record in project management, your credentials will include the ability to integrate into the wider Power Grids team.
Certifications in project management (IPMA, PMI, or equivalent) would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
self-motivated approach and team spirit and well-developed leadership skills.
Preference is that the successful candidate will be proficient in both technical qualifications in Electrical Engineering as well as business-related experience.
Preference In-depth knowledge of fundamental power system design and operation.
Preference Knowledge of the fundamentals of control & protection systems as well as an appreciation for IT systems; networking, virtualization and cyber-security.
