Our client is a highly successful prestigious property organisation with a reputation for providing excellent service to their customers. They are currently seeking an experienced Lettings and Property Manager to look after one of their existing build to rent developments in Horsham.
You will be responsible for marketing their high end vacant properties, conducting all viewings and negotiating offers. Once the properties have been let, you will be responsible for maintenance requests, managing contracts and deposits as well as being the first point of contact for any general tenant queries.
This is a busy and challenging role, and customer service is key! You must have excellent organisational skills, have good people skills and be able to work under pressure as no two days will be the same!
Responsibilities will include:
- Marketing available properties, dealing with initial enquiries and arranging viewings
- Negotiating offers, referencing tenants and providing contracts
- Managing social media pages
- To act as first point of call for residents to report maintenance issues
- Organising and assessing repair works
- Undertaking tenancy renewals, driving rental growth
- Completing check in and check out reports; determining deposit returns
- Carrying out regular inspections of communal areas and apartments
- Responsible for Health and Safety compliance coordination; liaising with the Estate and Facilities managers where required
- Organising minor works between tenancies to maintain first class presentation of apartments
- Providing regular asset performance reports and attending monthly meetings with line manager
- Arranging regular resident engagement events on site, creating a community feel within the scheme
- Ensuring up to date resident communication via various channels to include social media
- Seeking special offers and discounts for residents from local businesses
- Ensuring tenants receive a pleasant customer experience
This role offers a salary of up to £39,000 plus bonus. Working hours for this role will be Monday to Friday 9am-6pm with no weekends.
