Assembly/ Build Technician required for specialist manufacturing business based near Hook, Hampshire. We are looking for candidates with experience of hands-on Assembly, mechanical/ Electromechanical fitting experience.
As the Assembly/ Build Technician you will be part of the Production Team, assembling a range of specialist machinery to the highest quality standard. You will work to a build sheet and be required to follow the set process to ensure machines ate built to spec, ensure all wiring is correct and aesthetically pleasing to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out Electro-Mechanical assembly - involving sub-assemblies - with mechanical parts and wiring prior to then carrying out required testing procedures, to the highest quality standards.
- Ability to read drawings and interpret the requirement for the build.
- Assemble then leak and pressure test various pressure vessels to required standards prior to recording results.
- Ensure all build procedures are followed and advise of any discrepancies.
- Notify the Production Engineer of any non-conformances.
Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
- Having worked in a lean manufacturing environment, champion the 5S approach.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience having worked in an electromechanical assembly environment
- Basic computer literacy
