Pay: £29.33 per hour
Shift Pattern/ Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday 08.00-16.00

Job Overview:
As a key contributor, you'll be an integral part of our mission to manage and deliver cutting-edge construction projects that enhance healthcare infrastructure.
As a P3O Project Manager (Buildings), you will:
- Operate with Excellence: Utilize PRINCE2 project methodology within our Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management (P3M) office environment.
- Autonomous Leadership: Take the lead in autonomously managing and delivering a diverse range of capital construction projects, ensuring success from feasibility through procurement to completion on site. Projects range from small works at £10k to those up to £1m.
- Strategic Contribution: Assist the Head of Projects in overseeing the overall Estates Project Works programme, ensuring compliance with RBFT and department governance. Contribute to HVAC and Building Fabric projects within the hospital approved plan.
- Safety First: Manage and monitor CDM2015 and other project Health and Safety aspects, ensuring a secure working environment.
- Performance Metrics: Provide key performance indicators showcasing the Trust's Estates and Facilities capital programme against national and local standards.
- Resource Management: Efficiently manage external resources on behalf of the capital technical team, delivering professional, customer-focused, and cost-effective services.
- Continuous Development: Uphold the highest professional standards in construction practice by actively participating in internal and external CPD training. Embrace industry-specific higher/further education for continuous growth.
- Flexibility: Demonstrate flexibility by assisting/covering other Project Managers when directed by the Head of Projects.
- Design Expertise: Generate specifications, schedules, and drawings adhering to current industry legislation, good practice (HTM / HTG / HBN), and design-to-tender principles for lower-value projects.
Person Specification:
- Qualified to HNC/HND level in a relevant Building Construction qualification or equivalent, or possession of equivalent experience in an Estates Management environment.
- Project Management experience in a Construction setting.
- PRINCE2 accreditation.
- Specialism in P3O with appropriate knowledge.
- Excellent people skills and the drive to ensure that Trust Values are always followed.
