Building Services Engineer

We are looking to recruit a Mobile Building Services Engineer who currently lives within the Home Counties area.

We want engineers who believe the same as the rest of the team in providing excellent service to commercial buildings for our clients.

We believe that well trained, presented and friendly engineers are the key to our business success. To ensure standards are kept high we believe in providing on the job training.

Main Duties

• Undertake maintenance tasks, call out response & repair of all types of Air Conditioning and HVAC systems.
• Provide technical assistance to other engineers
• A good understanding of General Building services
• Efficiently maintain and repair plant/equipment
• To carry out diagnostic, fault finding
• This is a mobile role which involves travelling to attend PPM, repairs and call outs.
• Maintain PPM Records Digitally
• To identify areas for additional works within and out of the specified contractual requirements
• To understand, complete all work related documentation accurately on time and to exceed the customers expectations.
• To understand & comply with policies and procedures
• To carry out work in a safe and diligent manner
• To comply with all Health and Safety policies and procedures
• To attend, fully participate in training and appraisal activities as required
• To undertake additional duties in line with capabilities as required

Responsibilities and Duties

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm
• ½ lunch break
• Starting at 28 days holiday per annum including bank holidays. Accumulating an additional day per year up to 38 days including bank holidays.
• Be available for call out rota.

Qualifications and Skills

Person Specification

• 5 years Experience as a Building Services Engineer'
• A good general experience in working in occupied premises
• A good understanding of Health & Safety procedures
• The ability to communicate at all levels
• Generally IT literate
• Clear communicator both oral and written
• A customer focused approach.
