Boden Group is delighted to be supporting a fantastic organisation in the recruitment for a Buildings and Facilities Manager to oversee the maintenance and Facilities services across the business.
This role is a facilities management-focused role where you will be responsible for the upkeep of the premises and advise on PPM s and Reactive Maintenance needed across the business.
Here is an overview of some of the key responsibilities:
As the organisational Competent Person, lead on health and safety including regular review of the organisational Health & Safety Policy; reporting procedure; collation of completed risk assessments and method statements Act as servicing officer for the Health and Safety Group advising on organisational responsibilities and any legislative changes using external insight and knowledge. Ensure legal compliance including, but not limited to, asbestos, fire, electrical, and water hygiene, across the main office and all community Buildings and assets. Ensure that public safety is prioritised across all public buildings, the main office, community assets and open spaces. In all aspects of work act in accordance with General Data Protection Regulations. Take prompt action on any matters arising from inspections and communicate any material issues to the Chief Executive Proactive management of keys and any other relevant paperwork to enable access to, and knowledge of, buildings, land and assets.
Devise and deliver a procurement policy and procedure to ensure best value is achieved across utilities and other consumable items.
What are we ideally looking for in an applicant?
Membership of Institute of Occupational Safety and Health Awareness of statutory compliance requirements of offices and public buildings Skilled in financial planning and negotiation Proficient user of Microsoft Office Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to build effective relationships with all stakeholders Strong planning and organising skills Ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload to meet deadlines Accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work effectively in a team High level of discretion and confidentiality A working knowledge of GDPR
