Due to global expansion, my client based in Huntingdon is seeking a Business Account Manager to join their friendly and dynamic customer service and sales team on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be joining an innovative market-leading engineering company that recognises that teamwork and customer satisfaction are the foundation of their continued success and growth.
My client is open to receiving CVs from individuals wishing to move into a sales environment or experienced Account Managers.
Within the role of Account Manager, you will be allocated a UK and International customer base to nurture and grow ensuring that you provide your customers with accurate price quotations and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Provide customers with price quotations
- Process customer orders
- Advise new or potential customers on products
- Identify new business and further opportunities for business growth
- Initiate customer contact via phone and email and build long-lasting relationships, encouraging return business
- Follow sales system processes and maintain an updated database
To be successful for the role you must be able to demonstrate previous experience within a sales business-to-business role or similar OR seeking the opportunity to grow and develop within a sales environment. You must be motivated, have the desire to be successful, be comfortable working towards targets, and prepare to grow and develop with the ongoing growth of the business
Due to the client customer base being global, there will be the opportunity of occasional travel and therefore a skill of flexibility will be needed.
