The Opportunity
We are looking for a Business Administration Apprentice to join our busy Human Resources team based at our Blackburn Head Office.
As an Apprentice at Vital Energi you will study a Level 3 Business Administration Apprenticeship whilst playing a crucial role in developing, implementing, maintaining and improving administration services within the organisation. You will have clear objectives and be supported with training which will develop your personal and professional skills along the way!
The Role
The role will involve:
- Booking training courses and responding to training enquiries
- Issuing mandatory (e-learning) training requests/ notification for existing and new employees
- Issuing Training Agreements where relevant
- Coordinating the payment of invoices and completing the monthly return for the training credit card
- Keeping all departmental Training matrix’s updated once training has been completed
- Arranging training facilities as required e.g. training rooms, copy training material, book refreshments etc.
- Maintaining personnel files and filing.
- Updating the HR database with information such as training records, new starter information
- Maintaining personnel files and filing
The Person
Skills and Experience:
- GCSE’s Grade C (Grade 4) and above in Maths and English or equivalent.
- Demonstrable work experience would be advantageous.
Competencies:
- Ability to work on own initiative and proactively, as well as work well in a team
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload
- Takes personal responsibility for your own actions and for resolving issues or problems that arise
- Good Oral and Written Communication Skills
- A high level of confidentiality, tact and diplomacy
- Confident manner, with ability to work to deadlines, whilst remaining focussed
The Package
- Starting salary £14,000 per annum
