This Business Analyst role is primarily responsible for supporting price monitoring and reporting, as well as process improvements and standardization related to pricing.
This position is part of the Global Commercial Excellence team located around the world and will be a hybrid role. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Own detailed pricing data analytics, reporting, and governance activities to put forward proposals on how to better optimize Cytiva pricing processes.
- Prepare monthly discount and pricing insight reports to monitor pricing performance against business targets; assist preparing, coordinating, and executing quarterly/annual pricing review(s)
- Support development of a price approval process for MSAs, distributors and direct sales
- Provide support to Americas / EMEA Commercial organization & Global Account Executives Deal Teams through pricing analytics, models, and packages to support strategic deals and negotiations.
- Assemble, roll out and provide guidance on price files and discount models, for direct sales and distributors.
- Support various growth and effectiveness programs to support revenue generation.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, commerce, or marketing with work experience
- Fluent in English and preferably a second language e.g. German or Swedish
- Microsoft Office skills essential (Excel, Access, PowerPoint); experience with Salesforce.com (CRM), Oracle e-business suite (ERP), QlikSense and PowerBI preferred.
- Motivated, outcome driven, process-oriented, highly structure individual with strong data analytical, research and modelling skills; able to solve complex problems.
- Team player with proven abilities to prioritize achieving common goal(s) within agreed deadlines.
