- Understanding, capturing and documenting business requirements
- Ensure users are kept up to date throughout the duration of their queries
- Provide document maintenance across the Acturis and Applied Epic document suite, creating new and modifying existing templates where required to meet the needs of the business
- Maintain accurate system configuration records, in line with changes made
- Identify trends in items raised and assess whether they are the result of a wider issue, a training need or a development suggestion for Acturis and Applied Epic
- Evaluate the impact of Acturis and Applied Epic upgrades on users and agree activation tactics with the Applications Manager
- Create and process test scripts to support UAT testing for new features or documents
- Share knowledge on best practice hints & tips with super users
- Evaluate existing business processes and seek areas to improve operational efficiency including the introduction of automation and workflows
- Ensure that BAU activity is logged and resolved in a timely, priority-based manner
- Escalate queries and issues to line manager or second line colleagues, as appropriate
- Support the business and your direct colleagues in timely, efficient manner
- Insurance broking systems including Acturis is essential.
- Understanding of the organisation and the sector it operates in.
- Customer interfacing experience
- Strong experience supporting the Acturis Broking Application is a must
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to translate technical requirements to the business
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
