I hope you are having a great week so far, I am pleased to be partnering with a dynamic Financial Services organisation who are looking for a Finance Systems Business Analyst to join their team.
Finance Systems Business Analyst£450-£500 per day inside IR35, due for extension on 31st December 2023
Hybrid role based in Farnborough, Hampshire, 2 days in office
Your new role
This is a long term role which will be extended and is within an exceptional business who offer a fantastic working environment, company culture and long term prospects. Under general direction, responsible for formulating and defining the initiative scope and objectives, undertaking complex research and analysis to define solutions, support design and development through to leading system integration testing, user acceptance testing and implementation phases in line with the Agile Working Model (AWM). Being part of a BizDevOps Feature Team, able to create key Agile artefacts including user stories, creation of backlogs, estimating capabilities, and ability to be part of self organizing team to deliver incremental change.
You will be involved in the following tasks.
- Work in collaboration with multi-departmental business stakeholders and users, as well as IT technology specialists within the BMW Group including leading workshops, checking deliverables from Business Analysts and gaining approvals from stakeholders.
- Work in collaboration and oversee the work of vendors including providing guidance and checking deliverables.
- Engagement with centres of competence within the IT Group to maximize efficiency centres of competence and re-use of standard solutions.
- Support demand management process and definition and prioritization of new programmes and projects.
- Contribute to the development of IT Group through global and regional initiatives.
To apply you will need
To live within a one hour commute of Farnborough and be able to drive (unless you live in Farnborough itself) and the following:-
- A strong history as a Business Analyst working within the Financial Sector extensively
- Track record of successfully delivering business improvement and IT change in a financial services environment.
- Experience in building IT system solutions from a 'bottom up' approach, though strong IT knowledge and programme awareness.
- Well-developed IT analytical and system related information gathering skills. Sound knowledge of MS Office, project management tools and process modelling.
- Experience in leading re-engineering and change management projects.
