Business Analyst

As an IT Business Analyst, you will be responsible for the company’s new product development for Association Directory, Membership Portal, Event Ticketing and WhatsApp eCommerce. You will analyze business requirements, translate them into functional specifications, and ensure the successful implementation of our platform's features and functionalities. Your responsibilities will include:
Duties:
Requirement Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their business needs and translate them into detailed technical requirements.
Analysis and Documentation: Analyze existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement. Document requirements, use cases, and functional specifications.
Solution Design: Work with development teams to design and propose technical solutions that meet business requirements and align with organizational goals.
Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop test plans and scenarios, conduct testing, and ensure that solutions meet quality standards and user expectations.
Project Management: Assist in project planning, resource allocation, and timeline management. Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and development teams to ensure project success.
Training and Support: Provide training and support to end-users during the implementation and rollout of new software.
Skills:
Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex business problems, identify root causes, and propose effective solutions.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Technical Aptitude: Strong understanding of IT concepts, systems, and technologies. Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
Business Acumen: Deep understanding of business processes, operations, and industry trends. Ability to align technical solutions with business objectives.
Documentation: Proficiency in documenting requirements, specifications, and processes using industry-standard tools and methodologies.
Experience:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
Industry Experience: Previous experience in a Business Analyst role, preferably in the IT or technology sector.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Visio, JIRA, and various project management software.
