Job Description for Business Analyst
Job Description
This position is a highly visible and integral role within the Global Business Partnerships (GBP) team which is responsible for driving revenue by establishing and growing key partnerships. Our team works very closely with stakeholders across the organization with regular exposure to senior leadership.
Right now, we are looking for a forward-thinking, data driven analyst with strong commercial competence and proven thought leadership to join the GRM team.
What you will do:
Provide detailed commercial insights to support complex performance improvement initiatives
Closely collaborate with the optimization team to scope new revenue opportunities, and develop and roll-out pre/post reporting for key business initiatives
Review performance of the hotel business; develop and communicate insights into performance drivers, identify key risks and opportunities.
Participate in stakeholder meetings where detailed data and analytics will be communicated to varying levels up to senior leadership
Demonstrate strong communication skills translating complex data into key messages and presenting to stakeholders
What we're looking for:
Excellent analytical mentality with broad commercial competence and thought leadership to generate relevant insights on performance
Able to work with data at a detailed level while keeping an eye on the broader strategy
Excellent communication skills; must be able to translate sophisticated data into key messages that will be delivered to leadership teams
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
Educated to degree level ideally in a numerate subject
Demonstrated experience of working in an analytical role
Ability to translate large amounts of data into clear practical insights
Strong collaborator engagement skills including communications, time management and prioritisation skills
Ability to understand business processes and commercial implications to make strategic recommendations
Strong excel skills is essential
PowerBI proficiency would be a plus
Ability to travel as needed
