Business Architect

Our client, a leading financial services organisation, is seeking a Business Architect to join their forward thinking team. The Business Architect will be responsible for building, maintaining and enhancing the core Business Architecture domains of business process, people, technology, services and governance and for establishing a consistent reference model.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Architect

• Translating the business strategies and priorities against the four TOGAF domains as a means of providing an IT Architecture view
• Ensuring the artefacts and processes are scalable, repeatable, managed and maintained to inform the stakeholders and the business of its impact
• Documenting and communicating constraints, standards and guiding principles necessary to define, assure and govern the required evolution
• Develop and maintain TOGAF Architectural models and processes to facilitate changes in the organization's structure, business processes, information or data, business systems and infrastructure
• Aligning the TOGAF architecture against the operating model to provide architectural insight for the connectivity and interdependencies of existing and new initiatives
• Lead and represent IT Business Architecture within the organization
• Maintain the core TOGAF reference model so future designs and requests can be fully understood against their impacts

Key Experience for the Business Architect

• Experience working as a Business Architect within complex enterprise-wide organisations and initiatives
• TOGAF 9.2 certified
• The ability to explain complexity in a clear, succinct way, providing advice and recommendations to influence decision making across stakeholders at all levels, including C-Suite.
• Strong data manipulation & visualisation skills, with experience of ingesting data from multiple sources.
