Permanent – Part Time

Location – Derby – Hybrid Remote

Salary - Negotiable depending on experience

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for one of our trusted clients based in Derby. They are a team of professional surveyors carrying out works across the UK. Our client are committed to the provision of a wide range of professional measurement services including topographical surveys, measured building surveys and underground utility surveys. Providing the highest-quality geospatial services while also protecting the environment, they use the latest technology, including GNSS systems, robotic total stations with reflector less technology, 3D modelling software and 3D laser scanners.

Due to expansion they are now looking for a Business Developer on a part time basis with the view to possibly turn full time to help generate leads & win new projects. The successful candidate will contribute to the further success through developing a detailed understanding of our core services, in order to support sourcing of potential clients and income.

Responsibility & Duties

• Bid Support -Find opportunities via portals/public sector work/frameworks
• Review requirements and manage process to source information
• Submit final bid in presentable format
• Identifying new business and developing it into a sales opportunity promoting the company & its services via leads, cold calls and occasional visits
• Update social media particularly Linkdin
• Liaising with our web site developer and helping to organise more content
• Liaising with New Customers, preparing quotations with surveyors
• Organising the design, implementation and distribution of marketing tools such as brochures, E-shots

Experience & Qualification

• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Experience in customer visits including formulating sales calls plans, gathering information and progress through the sales process.
• Experience within construction industry ideal
• Full clean driving licence.
