Business Development Advisor - Irthlingborough
The successful candidate will play a critical role in the success of the customer engagement function at the company, with responsibility for new business generation and for driving customer growth. You will also be responsible for increasing awareness of the company and matching potential client requirements to our portfolio of products and services through strategically planned activity, whilst ensuring that key performance indicators and targets are met. You will form close relationships with key decision makers and increase customer loyalty as well as driving revenue growth.
Company:- Kingsley Consulting are working with a specialist education, management and accounting training provider that specialises in online delivery and distance learning solutions designed to support our clients with their professional development. Established in 2012, the company have become a UK wide supplier of Education and Training, Finance and Accounting and Management and Leadership qualifications. Delivering to a blue-chip client base including the Met Police, East Midlands Ambulance Service, Jet 2, Addidas, CTS, Fortum and BT. The company are one of four companies part of a £22million turnover national group.
Package :- £25k-28K. Holiday - 25 Days per annum + bank holidays, Company Sick Pay, Health Cash Plan and Employee Assistance Programme, Life Assurance, Pension scheme, Eye Care Scheme.
Location :- Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire
Working Hours:- 8:30-5:30 Monday to Thursday / 8:00-5:00 Friday
Role Overview
Identify, nurture and close all ‘new business’ customer opportunities.
Achieve monthly targets to include revenue, margin, conversion and product uptake.
Manage and convert email enquiries.
Identify prospects with an immediate requirement that can be closed over the phone.
Support follow up activities of the Executive Director.
Offering advice and guidance on our training portfolio and related industry certification.
Consistently maintaining our innovative and professional approach to our clients’ needs and upholding our reputation as one of the UK’s trusted training providers.
Ensuring that customer satisfaction results in repeat business.
Build close relationships with key decision makers.
Review and qualify client potential and allocate to appropriate business stream for on-going sales development.
Follow up on web-based leads and qualify future potential opportunities
Update CRM to maintain accurate records.
Support all marketing, campaign and lead generation activities.
Work in conjunction with the Executive Director by setting appointments to drive
account growth.
Meet and surpass any relevant role related SLA targets and KPI’s, as required.
Promote any company initiatives and customer development activities, as required

Experience & Skills Required
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Experience in external sales and business generation.
Knowledge or experience of the Education & Training sector would be beneficial, but is not essential.
Experience in a business to business sales environment.
Excellent customer service and people skills, with a hands on and customer-centric approach.
Ability to deliver in a highly targeted sales role.
Ability to develop effective working relationships with colleagues at all levels.
Self-motivated and able to work on their own initiative.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in written communications.
Strong time management skills along with the ability to be organised and plan and prioritise tasks.
Ability to be responsive to a fast-changing environment.
Excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
Competent user of IT systems and software.
