Business Development and Account Manager

An exciting opportunity for an ambitious and enthusiastic sales professional to join my clients established team.

Within this role your time will be split between working on new business opportunities and developing our existing high value customers to achieve realistic targets with an attractive commission scheme.

This role is working in B2B sales with a strong emphasis on face to face selling to all types of businesses, both big and small on a regional and national basis. You will be working within a growing business, celebrating their 30th year.

You must have a proven background for at least 1 year in the B2B sector, preferably field sales

Duties:

• Identifying new business leads from a mix of your existing contacts and prospecting by way of telephone canvassing and visiting businesses although several booked appointments will be supplied
• Working with existing high value customers to develop new opportunities, promote growth, testimonials and referrals
• Attend networking events as and when required to support the needs of the business
• Be confident in the use of LinkedIn and actively use it to interact with potential customers
• Provide a consultative and innovative sales approach to effectively overcome objections and build strong client relationships
• Book your own sales meetings/appointments with both new and existing clients alongside those appointments booked for you

• A company car / car allowance
• £35,000 - £40,000 basic salary, depending on experience
• OTE £60k+

• Hours based upon Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.15pm (No weekends or bank holidays)
