Our client is now looking for a Business Development Director to join them on a full-time basis, initially on a two-year fixed-term contract. Part-time hours will also be considered.

The Role
As Business Development Director, you will lead on generating income and impact for community organisations.
Growing our client’s new charity, you will take responsibility for their development, drawing on their support and resources.
You will lead on the implementation of our client’s recently reviewed strategy, focusing on fundraising and Business Development, and play an instrumental role in determining future strategies as their impact grows.
There is huge scope for this role to develop as our client’s opportunities grow, and to further cement their strong reputation as the community foundation.
About You
To be considered as Business Development Director, you will need:
- Experience of income generation and partnership development with corporate and individual donors
- Experience of reporting to, or working with, a board of trustees or directors
- The ability to develop strong relationships over a variety of roles and sectors
- The ability to identify and secure opportunities for growth of income and impact
- Experience of setting and managing organisational or multi-programme product budgets
- Excellent prospecting, networking, persuasion, negotiation and closing skills
- Experience of managing a small team
