Monday-Friday / 8:30am-5:00pm

Our client was established around 25 years ago, and since then has continually expanded and is now able to provide national coverage for their products and services. They are still committed to giving customers a professional and personalised service, with quality products and competitive rates. Our client are looking for a Business Development Executive to join their team to be a key player in the growth and development of the business.

Responsibilities and duties will include, but not limited to:

• Introductory sales calls with a variety of businesses
• Build positive relationships with potential customers.
• Identify requirements for service contract through questioning techniques.
• Identify and follow up future requirements and opportunities.
• Produce professional quotations.
• Follow up quotes in a timely manner.
• Convert to sale.
• Set up customer accounts and service contracts in system.
• Complete tenders
• Attend customer premises where necessary.
• Represent the business at exhibitions and events throughout the UK.

Skills and Experience

• Experience within a B2B sales position.
• Confident with introductory sales calls.
• Capable of reaching sales targets.
• Able to generate and follow up sales leads.
• Capable of planning time, prioritising and managing own workload in a high-pressured environment.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Able to expertly handle customers’ expectations and confidently handle difficult / stressful situations.
• Able to build & maintain strong relationships with prospective customers at all levels.
• Driven with a desire to succeed.
• Must have a full driving licence and own vehicle.
