Business Development Executive

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 plus bonus
Reed are delighted to be working with a growing company who are looking for a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Executive to join their vibrant team. This role is ideal for someone with a knack for identifying and qualifying leads, generating interest in products or services, and driving sales success. Experience in dealing with construction professionals is desirable.
Day to Day of the role:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients, using effective questioning techniques to understand their needs and identify potential opportunities.
- Research and qualify leads to ensure alignment with their target market and sales goals.
- Schedule appointments for sales representatives with qualified leads.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the sales team, including preparing presentations, scheduling meetings, and managing data.
- Assist with the development and implementation of sales campaigns and initiatives.
- Analyse call data and reports to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Develop strong client relationships, building rapport and trust through clear and engaging communication.
- Actively listen to client needs and concerns, providing accurate information and solutions.
- Maintain a professional demeanour and uphold the company’s reputation in all interactions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a confident and persuasive telephone manner.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and data management tools, including Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience in lead generation and qualification.
- A keen understanding of the sales cycle and the ability to close deals is advantageous.
- Target-driven and results-oriented, with a passion for exceeding expectations.
- Knowledge of RIBA design stages and the construction project process would be beneficial.
