Job description

My client is looking for someone to join their Business Development team. Sales experience is not necessarily required just the ability to be able to sell. Experience within the logistics industry is however required. The successful individual will be responsible for driving new business by finding potential clients and building relationships with them. The individual must be able to understand costings in order to build and maintain a profitable sales. As the Business Development Representative, the individual must be highly organised and detail orientated. Duties & Responsibilities: - Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities. - Contact potential clients through cold calls, social media marketing and email - Present our company to potential clients. - Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services. - Customise product solutions to increase customer satisfaction. - Building client relationships and identifying new business opportunities - Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the costing structure (cost of sales) - Have a good understanding of the budgeted sales revenue - Support Sales department by communicating internally important feedback from customers - Communicate effectively with customers on a daily basis when required
