Our client is the market leader in total joint integrity who manufactures and supplies static sealing solutions, including industrial gaskets, as well as bolting, machining, leak detection and training. They currently require a technical Business Development Manager to cover Scotland, with particular focus on the Oil & Gas sector, centred in Aberdeen.
Your main duties will include:
-Working with clients to incorporate proprietary material into piping specifications/contracts and equipment designs
-Leading the sales process, negotiating contracts, and closing deals to achieve revenue targets and maximise profitability
-Conducting thorough market research to identify opportunities, trends, and potential areas for business expansion
-Developing and implementing plans to enter new markets, increase market share, and achieve business growth objectives
-Generating leads through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building to secure new business opportunities and partnerships
-Working closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to ensure a coordinated approach to business growth
As Business Development Manager you’ll need:
-A services background
-Familiarity with local operators
-Relevant technical and market knowledge, e.g. seals, gaskets, valves, pumps or filtration
-Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/Hydraulic Engineering
