Business Development Manager

Job Description:
As the Business Development Manager at Daffodil, you will be integral in forging and nurturing both business and consumer relationships. Your role is critical during our launch phase and as we establish Daffodil as a premier destination in Liverpool's Visitor Economy. You will be responsible for setting up operational systems and procedures, driving marketing and PR efforts and devising strategies to boost business performance and meet commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
Cultivate and maintain relationships with key business and consumer clients, becoming a well-networked face of the Daffodil brand.
Implement and oversee effective systems and procedures to ensure smooth operations during our launch period and beyond.
Develop and execute innovative marketing and PR strategies to enhance brand visibility and attract a diverse clientele.
Work closely with the management team to set and achieve commercial targets, focusing on long-term business growth.
Conduct market analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
Coordinate with different departments to ensure cohesive brand messaging and operational efficiency.
Represent Daffodil at various events and networking gatherings, enhancing brand presence and forging new partnerships.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in Business Development, preferably in the hospitality, events, or related industry.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with a flair for networking and client relations.
Excellent organisational and leadership abilities.
Familiarity with the local and regional hospitality market.
Adept at strategy development and execution.
Effective communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work flexibly in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
