Business Development Manager 
Location: Field Based - M62 Corridor
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 + car allowance + bonus
Elevation Recruitment Group are thrilled to be recruiting for a leading Sheffield based manufacturing company who are a highly regarded and market leaders within their field. Specialising in commercial glazing products they have become extremely well established over the years and this is a brilliant opportunity to join a growing team.
This role will play a crucial part in expanding their M62 corridor territory. They are looking for an ambitious individual with experience in unlocking new business opportunities, thriving on growing client relationships and expanding their area to its full potential. To be considered for this role you need to have experience selling building products into main contractors.
Key Responsibilities

• Generate enquiries through lead generation tools and establish solid working relationships with key decision makers.
• Vet and validate new enquiries to ensure alignment with company objectives and capabilities.
• Strategically target key sectors and individuals, collaborating with the Marketing team to refine communication strategies and enhance brand visibility.
• Conduct credit checks, understand contracts, terms, scopes of works, and proposed programmes to assess viability and mitigate risks.
• Maintain an updated CRM system, regularly follow up on quotations, and track project progress. Provide accurate sales forecasts based on specific principles and market trends.

Qualifications

• Commercial sales experience is crucial, experience in dealing with main contractors, housing associations and local authorities
• A proven track record in Business Development that is second to none 
• Good established network within the industry and strong negotiation skills.
• Excellent communicator, with the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels.
• Results-driven with a winning mentality, driven by a desire to succeed and grow the business
• UK Driving license is essential
