Position Overview:
Cipher10 recently became part of the ID-ware Group to further fuel the ambitious growth goals within the UK. As part of this transition, we are looking for an ambitious Business Development Manager to help us achieve our goals. As our first Business Development Manager in the UK you will not only be responsible for the entire sales cycle (from prospection to closing deals), but also have the opportunity to develop and implement strategies to achieve our growth objectives in the UK market.
Key Responsibilities:


  • Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients, key stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions to client's needs and market demands.
  • Analyse market trends, competitor activity and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
  • Represent the company at industry events and conferences to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Provide reports and updates on the sales activities, pipeline development and market insights.
  • Lead new client discussions, creation, and presentation of proposals.

Your profile

  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • Proven track record in a similar role, ideally within the physical security industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with generating leads, negotiating and closing deals
  • Natural sales instinct and great rapport builder
  • Self-motivated and result-driven
  • Flexibility to travel within the UK
  • Hold, and/or be willing to undergo UK National Security Vetting up to SC (Security Check) level
  • Membership of a security related professional body at Chartered or Incorporated level would be beneficial
