Business Development Manager Role Overview:
My client is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving business growth and expanding the client base within the construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for sales, relationship building, and a keen understanding of the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to generate leads and expand the client portfolio.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders in the construction industry.
- Develop and implement strategic Business Development plans to achieve sales targets and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to tailor solutions that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and pitches to prospective clients.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements, ensuring favourable terms and conditions for the company.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in Business Development, sales, or account management within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
Preferred Experience:
- Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience working with Business Development software.
- Experience working in Brickworks, Carpentry, Joinery, or a similar field.
