About the role of Business Development Manager
Due to a new opportunity that has just opened up, we are seeking a Business Development Manager (Sales Professional) who is a results driven individual looking to advance their Sales career. Our client is seeking a bright, motivated, and enthusiastic Business Development Manager to develop new client relationships through self sourced leads (70%) as well as converting inbound leads (30%) into new Sales.
As a Business Development Manager, you will:
- Sell subscriptions and licenses for our client’s online Regulatory Intelligence (Reg Tech) platform into the Banking & Finance sector targeting new prospects across EMEA
- Maintain a healthy pipeline of prospects via Salesforce
- Target decision makers at 'C’ level
- Be responsible for the full 360 sales cycle from initial sales call through to arranging online Sales demonstrations / face to face demonstrations and closing deals
- Put together account plans for Sales forecasting purposes and build a healthy pipeline of Sales prospects to sell into
- In addition to your office-based Sales responsibilities, you may occasionally be expected to attend external meetings events to see clients for networking Sales purposes

About You:
- Well educated with strong communication skills; both written and spoken.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales revenue targets
- Track record in Subscription Sales and with presenting via web and face to face
- Experience of selling within Business Intelligence / Business Information, SAAS or RegTech
- Consultative Sales experience with experience of selling to senior level decision makers
- Competitive, driven and goal orientated
- Ambitious and hungry to grow / develop
- Strong Sales Methodology - trainined in Challenger or Medic / Medpicc
