Our client, an incredibly well-established business whom - amongst other services - offer an incredible B2B Logistics/Mail/Fulfilment solution, are looking to recruit an industry-experienced Business Development Manager to join their ever-growing operation. Working completely autonomously (with close links to the Central London Head Office), this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate.
Our client have been established for close to 25 years and are fresh off the back of a huge global acquisition, which has accelerated their growth. The types of solutions that the company offer their B2B client base are incredibly varied and, in addition to Mail/Logistics/Fulfilment, also offer a fantastic Managed Print Solutions offering
As a UK business, they currently trade with over 5,000 clients on their Logistics offering, with designated Account Managers set up across the country whom oversee these client relationships. Ideally, they are seeking the right candidate (with the right knowledge of the Mail/Fulfilment industry) to leverage these relationships and cross-sell the company\'s solution(s). In addition to this, the company have an incredible database with fresh contacts to target! In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Implementing a strategic approach to targeting/reaching out to the company\'s 5,500 active clients (to cross-sell different solutions)
- Leveraging existing Account Management relationships to get in front of clients
- Adopting a consultative approach to really understand each client\'s potential requirements, before selling a suitable solution
- Meeting with clients (either on video or in person)
- Exceeding Business Development/Sales expectations
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have the following:
- Experience of exceeding sales/business targets in a New Business capacity
- Experience of working within either Mail/Fulfilment/Logistics, or the Print industry (both traditional and digital). Our client would also consider candidates whom have sold FM solutions
- Genuine desire/drive to earn lots of money in commission
- Ability to work autonomously
In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:
- Uncapped commission (paid monthly) - realistic OTE of £80,000
- Full working autonomy (assigned to Central London office but ability to work as hybrid/remote as you would like)
