Business Development Manager needed for growing Tech Manufacturer!
Our client are a internationally known Access Control/Intercom Manufacturer, having operated in the UK market for over 20 years, they're now looking to build market share and achieve organic growth. As one of the largest Intercom Manufacturers in the world, they have cutting edge products, exceptional R&D, very strong financial backing and a robust reputation!
As a Business Development Manager, your main responsibility is to grow the Northern region's revenue through sourcing and closing new accounts/projects. Further responsibilities will be attending client visits/trade shows to demonstrate products, account management of the distribution channel to ensure they're up/cross selling products, sourcing new projects with Installer/Integrators, ensuring your products are specified where applicable, conducting thorough market analysis of competitors and opportunities and reporting to the General Sales Manager.
To succeed within this position, you will have experience selling Access Control/Intercom solutions within the Security sector. Furthermore, you will be technically strong and have a passion for tech in the security market, be a driven & pro-active sales person who's happy to source leads through cold and warm sources, ideally have a strong understanding of the Security Market & the distribution/Installer markets, have strong experience hitting monthly/quarterly/yearly sales targets and enjoy a varied and fast paced sales job.
This is a fully remote position, therefore you must be comfortable being on the road and have a solid home office set up. The region is from Birmingham up to Newcastle, however the main area will be the Northern Belt.
Remuneration
- Basic salary up to £50,000 depending on experience (Flexible further).
- £10,000 bonus split quarterly based on figures.
- Additional yearly bonus for exceeding sales figures
- Car Allowance of £750pcm
