As their Business Development Manager, you will generate growth of the Southwest territory through winning/developing new business and optimising existing accounts.
The Position:
- Prospect, win and develop targeted value new key customers utilising CRM, area knowledge and trade press.
- Manage existing key accounts in region, both independent and national hospitality accounts, growing in line with budget expectations.
- Create and follow a planned 12-week journey cycle for existing accounts, with new business meetings planned in weekly.
- Expand and grow all customer spend, utilising our exclusive brands & branded suppliers.
- Full responsibility to identify range selling LE & HE, FOH & BOH.
- Use internal reporting to identify gaps in ranges above, and create development opportunities.
Requirements:
- 3+ years new business/sales experience.
- A tenacious, resilient and upbeat attitude.
- Proven sales track record and growth-focused mindset.
- Ability to build positive and collaborative relationships with clients and employ a consultative approach in sales / Business Development conversations.
- Bring new ideas, influencing others and having a positive impact on performance.
- Confident and self-motivated, hungry to hunt and win new business.
- Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely, logically, and inspirationally to internal and external parties.
