Business Development Manager | South Manchester (Hybrid) - Up to £50,000 DOE _+ Commission
Our well-established client is looking for a talented Business Development/Account Manager to join a very successful group of textile trading companies.
The right candidate will have excellent account management skills, strong organisational and negotiating skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Previous knowledge of selling fabrics to both Manufacturers and wholesalers is a requirement. The Ideal candidate will have personality, be naturally extroverted and will be able to expand on their large and proven product range and customer base.
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the product ranges to go out and sell.
- Be able to cross sell the product ranges across the board.
- Expand on the brands large product ranges and customer based.
- Get involved with multiple key areas of the business.
- Develop key relationships across the business to be able to best sell the product offerings.
- Identify partnership opportunities.
- Building rapport with your customers to gain continuous business and referrals.
Requirements
- Be naturally extroverted.
- Confident meeting with customers and cross-selling.
- Strong relationships/network within the fabric & upholstery industry.
- Previous knowledge of selling fabrics to manufacturers and wholesalers.
- Sourcing knowledge of Non-Woven & Polyesters would also be advantageous.
- Excellent account management skills.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Negotiating skills.
- Ability to work independently.
