Are you a dynamic and results-driven individual with a passion for sustainable solutions? Our client is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Manager to join their team and drive their sales of innovative reusable plastic pallets and packaging solutions.

Business Development Manager Role:

• Identify and maximise sales opportunities through cold calling and other new account generation techniques
• Research customers with Automated Warehouse System Integrators, Racking Manufacturers, Distributors of storage equipment, Retail and Distribution companies with plans to implement state of the art logistic and systems/automated warehouses
• Devise and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to promote products and solutions. 
• Lead negotiations with clients, ensuring favorable terms for both parties. Draft and manage contracts to secure long-term business relationships.
• Closing sales and supporting the customer through the whole sales cycle 
• Provide technical advice to customers including suitability of  solutions, timescales, and ramifications for bespoke solutions and new tooling and manufacturing processes involved.
• Attend seminars, conferences and trade shows in order to network
• Attend monthly sales meetings in head office.

Skills & Experience required :

• Proven Sales Experience: Minimum of 5 years of successful experience in Business Development, with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.

• Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the reusable packaging industry, particularly plastic pallets, is highly desirable.

• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to articulate complex concepts in a clear and persuasive manner.

• Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills with a focus on creating mutually beneficial agreements.

• Self-motivated: Ability to work independently and proactively identify opportunities for business growth.

• Sustainability Passion: A genuine passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting eco-friendly solutions.
