Tower Hamlets Law Centre - Business Development Manager 

Full-time or part-time with the potential for flexible working.

Salary: c. £35,000 p.a. + generous terms and conditions.

Tower Hamlets Law Centre helps some of the most vulnerable people in London’s East End. Since our foundation in 1975, we have earned a fine reputation amongst our clients and supporters as skilled and determined legal advisers to the local community. 

We’re looking for a born communicator, a people person with drive and enthusiasm who can build strong relationships with everyone from our most vulnerable clients to politicians and senior corporate lawyers. You’ll create alliances with potential supporters and funders, and with hard-pressed groups of residents in our East End community, helping us to grow funding for our work and to identify the issues where our legal expertise can create the most social impact. And you’ll help us to build our profile on traditional and social media, telling the stories of our clients, our community and our work. 

For the moment, we are offering the post as a one-year fixed-term contract (although we’re open to discussion about the length). During that time, we want the appointee to identify and grow sources of funding for the future that will sustain both the post and the law centre far into the future. We’re happy to receive applications from people who would like to approach this role on a part-time or flexible basis.
