Our client, an award- winning flexible working space, has an exciting opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join their team!
This is an exciting role for an ambitious individual that is looking to build long term relationships with Business owners within Bristol, Bath and surrounding areas reporting into the Managing Director.
The role:
- You will be a key member of the management team, with a strong input in discussions on sales and marketing strategy (eg target market, differentiation etc) - then working to implement and deliver the agreed priorities
- Leading on all sales activities for the business, proposing the right solution to best fit a potential customer’s needs
- Helping promote a culture of growth through sales across the business, selling flexible working spaces
- Creating defined sales plans and to be involved in creating/planning activities with the management team to attract new members
- Attending industry and local events on a frequent basis to grow brand awareness and networking to build strong relationships with partners, brokers and key influencers
- Generate your own meetings/tours through outreach activity & attending networking opportunities
- Staying up to date with market trends and the competition, presenting feedback and analysis on patterns and trends to the management team.
Key skills/ experience:
- Ability to put great pitches and sales proposals together with strong copywriting skills
- Great listener with fantastic negotiating skills and experience
- Fantastic networking skills with warm interpersonal skills and the ability to build long lasting honest relationships
- Analytical, able multitasker and an eye for detail
- Super organisational skills and diary management
- You'll know how to open discussions with business owners and commercial managers of successful SME's.
- Any additional skills or experience in marketing, copywriting and CRM’s would be helpful , you’ll enjoy working with a team of highly skilled marketers, creatives, and digital personnel, building a pipeline of businesses ultimately converting new clients to our full-service marketing package.
