Business Development Manager Position Overview
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities and potential threats.
- Analyse competitor activities and market dynamics to stay ahead of industry developments.
- Develop and implement a strategic Business Development plan aligned with the company's objectives.
- Identify new business opportunities and market niches for timber products.
- Identify key decision-makers and build rapport to enhance customer loyalty.
- Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Lead negotiations and close deals with prospective clients.
- Stay informed with industry trends, new products and advancements in the timber/construction sector.
- Achieve and exceed sales targets.
