SalaryOur client is developing aerosol technology that eliminates the requirement for harmful alkane usage in consumer products. Compounds such as Butane gas are ubiquitously used throughout the manufacturing of FCMG as they act as a suitable propellent for various consumer products.
Not only are these compounds harmful to the environment and consumers, they aren’t necessarily the most efficient option!
In this position, you will promote a safer and efficacious alternative. Technology that allows the usage of inert propellants, potentially resulting in improved product quality - with enhanced end-user safety.
Development of the valves starts in the lab. Therefore, hands-on time within the lab is fundamental to enable the successful candidate to fully understand system operation. The lab expertise gained will then allow a detailed explanation to clients of the technical benefits.
This appointment is unique and the successful individual will be someone who understands the integration of this technology will have a real-world beneficial impact.
We are seeking commercially minded scientists and salespeople with a background in packaging, FMCG, manufacturing or scientific sales. Your job will be to identify new business opportunities, nurture existing relationships and drive sales!
Customers are based worldwide so international travel is necessary.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Excellent communication skills and presenting skills
- A relevant scientific degree - BSc min
- UK Drivers License
- Ability to travel internationally
