We are delighted to be partnering with Trtl - creator of the innovative Trtl Travel Pillow and other accessories - as they bring in a Business Development & Partnerships Manager to join their rapidly growing team. With a number of key hires joining the business this year and big growth plans, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to be part of that success following their best year ever.
This is not your run-of-the-mill Business Development role. Yes, we're looking for commercial awareness, excellent relationship building skills and a great track record, but we're also looking for creativity, curiosity and plenty of ideas. There are some great partnerships to go after here, particularly with influencers in the travel space and in the sporting arena internationally so your ideas will be heard!
We're looking for...
- Commercial awareness - you'll be curious enough to explore all opportunities but commercial enough to know if it's worth while
- Experience of building Business Development strategies from a standing start
- Track record of success in outreach and recruiting for new performance-based marketing relationships
- Fantastic negotiation skills and able to refine profitable commercial terms
- Resilience - able to overcome objection and amend your approach
- Data management skills - able to use data to inform plans and create reports
- Experience of operation in a partnership/affiliate market roles of global e-commerce environment would be a bonus here
You will be...
- Working closely with Marketing and Senior Leadership teams, you'll be responsible for identifying, assessing and building relationships with key partners globally - from individuals and influencers to larger organisations and brands
- Growing the reach and reputation of the Trtl brand
- Building, owning and delivering a Business Development strategy
- Proactively researching, generating leads and building pipeline of potential partners
- Working closely with teams across the business to onboard new partners
- Providing reports and insights to external/internal stakeholders
