About the role
The Business Development Senior Executive is responsible for creating and closing sales opportunities, bringing in new business to the market and expanding existing customers from within the market. The individual will support inbound sales processes by providing proposals to global sellers, while also upselling and cross selling to an existing client portfolio. BD Senior Executive will also be responsible for non-complex renewal processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze existing customers’ service portfolio to develop a hit map of additional services, (including one-off services) , to upsell and cross sell in existing customers;
- Develop the business by building new business pipeline;
- Work as part of a deal team to ensure the best customer experience and response including working and sharing with sellers across other sales teams (markets and regions) to increase chances of winning the deal and learning from others;
- Execute marketing campaigns to develop the required pipeline;
- Undertake desk research and analysis of selected organizations;
- Create detailed sales plans that include multiple internal and external data points and a clear plan of action before approaching the organizations in question;
- Adopt and maintain TMF Sales Processes and Systems as part of daily job (including CRM weekly maintenance, Proposal building tool, Deal Qualification tool, Sales Dashboards, etc.);
- Maintain accurate sales forecasting information on a weekly basis;
- Provide support to Local Office sales and Professional Sellers with Standard Proposal generation and delivery;
- Support inbound sales processes by providing with proposals to global senior sellers;
- Support local office with administrative tasks (update CRM, follow up on KYC process);
- Meet monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree;
- At least 3 years of sales related experience preferably in business, sales, marketing, or a related field, environment, or in a consulting, accounting, or law firm;
- Excellent English in both written and verbal communication;
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels;
- Able to “solution sell” where the ability to actively listen to clients and understand what they really need is more important than a hard sell;
- Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team;
- Desire to continuously learn and improve;
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills;
- Results-oriented, and able to manage their priorities/workload.
