WHAT TO EXPECT

As a Business Governance Lead in Body Chassis Engineering (BCE), you will report to the BCE Business Manager and work with Chief Engineers to support the delivery of the Body Chassis strategic intent and to manage the business process within the department. The purpose of this role is to support the BCE Business Manager in developing, implementing and delivering business processes, aligned to the priorities of the department.

The role will require close liaison with BCE Chief Engineers to support the delivery of Body Chassis strategy and liaison with stakeholders within the wider PE function.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities:

  • Ensure that the first line is aware of and working to key operational imperatives and provide support to deliver where required
  • Collate, manage, interpret and analyse data for reporting purposes
  • Support the BM in following up actions from meetings & preparing issue briefings as needed
  • Lead audit readiness and follow up outstanding audit actions in BCE
  • Support the co-ordination and organisation of both internal and external communication events
  • Create and maintain documentation to enable effective delivery of department strategy, processes and objectives.
  • Support with developing and maintaining the department website
  • Undertake any other work as directed by the BCE Business Manager in connection with the role.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Organisation and prioritisation skills, ability to manage multiple changing priorities.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable in influencing and working with colleagues at all levels within the organisation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications - especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Project management experience
  • Proactive, autonomous, motivated self-starter, able to work under own initiative
