Job Title:Data Governance Lead

Location: Warwick

Role Summary:

Are you passionate about Data Governance and ensuring the integrity and reliability of data? Our client, a leading organisation in the Utilities industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Data Governance Lead to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital role in establishing and maintaining the Data Governance framework, ensuring data quality and compliance throughout the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Data Governance policies, standards, and processes
  • Establish Data Governance framework, including data quality, data privacy, and data security practises
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with Data Governance policies and standards
  • Perform regular data assessments and audits to identify and resolve data integrity issues
  • Provide guidance and support to business units on Data Governance best practises
  • Develop and deliver training programmes on Data Governance principles and processes

Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Data Management, Information Management)
  • Proven experience in Data Governance or data management
  • Strong knowledge of Data Governance frameworks and best practises
  • Experience in implementing Data Governance initiatives in a complex organisation
  • Familiarity with data protection regulations, such as GDPR or CCPA
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in the Utilities industry
  • Certification in Data Governance or related field
