We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Improvement Team, an established and highly regarded team who are at the forefront of change to help deliver vital public services in a forward thinking organisation.
As a Business Improvement Lead you will challenge and support all levels of staff to deliver continuous improvement initiatives across the Council.
You will lead the change initiatives for a number of projects associated with the Council’s priorities and support the Council to manage change programmes, prioritising customer value and providing constructive challenge. Exploiting digital technology to create more streamlined ways of doing things and better services for our customers is a high priority for us.
You will lead one or more Business Improvement or Portfolio Support Officers and will be responsible for their coaching and development.
You will have:
- A business related degree or systems improvement/change management related qualification
- Previous experience of implementing complex change initiatives
- Knowledge and an in depth understanding of continuous improvement, systems thinking and change management methodologies
- Strong stakeholder management experience with a proven ability to influence and deliver on key projects.
- Experience of leading teams.
