Business Improvement Manager

The Opportunity


We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Improvement Manager to lead transformative initiatives within our Mid-Market organisation. As a pivotal member of our team, you will lead transversal change and transformation projects aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and driving strategic initiatives.

What you’ll be doing


You’ll be part of the Business Improvement Team within Mid-Market in EDF Business Solutions. Working closely with the teams within Mid-Market (Sales, customer experience, performance and compliance and customer services teams) and wider teams within EDF Business Solutions.


You’ll lead strategic initiatives such as Customer Experience Transformation projects, the implementation of AI/RPA digital solutions and the automation of tools/processes, such as telephony system enhancement. You’ll own and deliver backlog of small Business Improvement initiatives.


You’ll lead the smooth transition and handover of developed improvements to the specific business users/owners ensuring all elements adhere to specified operational requirements. You’ll bridge process improvements between business units and benchmarking results with the market standard.


You’ll support and implement regulatory changes and requirements pertaining to the market, to ensure the team are set up for success for now and the future.


You’ll also set customer experience metrics by supporting with improvements throughout entire customer/TPI journey.


Who you are


Being a Business Improvement Manager at EDF means having strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise projects and manage business demands simultaneously, whilst measuring their effectiveness. You’ll be self-motivated and think logically.


You’ll have great influencing skills to promote change and engage stakeholders at all levels. You’ll have an analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, and you’ll have an entrepreneurial drive with growth and customer first mindset.


We’re looking for someone with experience in fast-paced change and transformation initiatives within a similar industry, preferably in the energy sector. Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance within the energy sector is desirable.
