The starting salary for this full-time role is £45,680 per annum based on a 36-hour working week.
This role is initially being offered as a two-year fixed term contract.
Our Customer Service team is excited to be hiring a Business Intelligence & Systems Officer to join our fantastic new Business Intelligence Team. The team is based in Dakota Building, Weybridge although there are opportunities to work from home.

About the team
Customer Services provides a single point of contact for around 90% of the organisation's initial contacts and is the focal point for receiving feedback from the public. As a centre of customer service excellence, we provide information, advice and support to services across the whole county council.

About the role
The Business Intelligence & Systems Officer is central to the successful delivery of our strategic aims.
By working collaboratively with the senior management team and analysing performance and customer data they will assist with the implementation of operational projects, specifically around systems and performance, to deliver improvements, innovation and an enhanced customer experience.
They will have responsibility for creating and delivering dynamic on-demand reports, both internally and for the wider organisation and manage positive relationships with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. They will also work with the Business Intelligence Lead in the management and development of key systems, seeking opportunities to streamline processes, increase efficiency, apply emerging technologies and optimise experience for both customers and staff.

To be considered for shortlisting your application will need to evidence the following:
- Analytical and research skills, including ability to use tools/techniques to enable measurement and presentation of data
- Experience of managing change in a complex organisation and a good understanding of issues facing local government
- Substantial experience of developing and implementing customer experience strategies
- Experience of preparing reports and recommendations, and use of influencing skills to gain agreement
- Experience of project management
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, use own discretion and quickly master new technology and Systems
- Ability to support the management, development and configuration of key systems
