If you are experienced in providing efficient and effective overall business support, including finance and staffing management, then join the team at Potters Bar as the Business Lead.
Working to support the Hospital Director and Admin Manager you will be part of delivering all operational performance targets, maintaining and providing accurate information on service user stays, checking staffing numbers and developing the overall business functionality of Potters Bar.
As part of being the Business Lead you will also line manage the Finance Administrator and Staffing Allocation Co-Ordinator to support payroll. You will work autonomously to resolve issues and concerns raised in relation to payroll and staffing issues as and when required.

As a Business Lead you will be:
- Supporting the accurate recording of service user’s observational hours, data input and contract information
- Managing, co-ordinating and administering systems and processes, including patient monies, petty cash, cover for payroll for the site (including overtime, bank and special duty pay), cover for the purchase system
- Providing an in-house recorded banking service for service users, including highlighting ‘out of the normal’ requests concerns
- Daily checks of staffing numbers around the Hospital. Review reports, check for the gaps, put shifts out and record when they get accepted
- Daily issuing of staffing sheets
- Triangulating shifts and update electronic system for accurate invoicing
- Completing EPCs, funding and transport forms, and NHSE case managers and Elysium Finance
- Using the electronic rostering system and bank and overtime booking systems to ensure the Hospital is staffed to the agreed levels.
- Working with the workforce and training administrator to ensure data input is completed accurately and timely
To be successful as a Business Lead, you will have:
- Administration experience
- Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of electronic staff booking systems
- Good attention to detail and numeracy skills
- Experience working in a similar environment

You will be working at Potters Bar Clinic, which is situated in a residential area only a one minute drive from the M25 and a short bus ride from Potters Bar Train Station – with a bus stop right outside, making it an easy commute for most.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team providing care and support for two services at Potters Bar Clinic:
- Young people aged 13-18 in a CAMHS Tier 4 low secure environment
- Adults with enduring mental health problems
Service delivery is driven by the principles of rehabilitation and recovery, where the overall aim is to deliver improved quality of life and independence.
