The Role:
The Business Manager for Finance will support the Director of Finance Transformation, Operations, Data and Controls in the effective performance of their accountabilities and responsibilities.
The Business Manager is accountable for supporting the Director in several areas:
(1) contributing to the prioritisation and planning for the Function,
(2) Overseeing and following up on plans and actions to deliver function objectives/Outcome Key Results (OKRs)
(3) Supporting the People agenda for the function, contributing to making it a great place to work
(4) ensuring the Director is prepared (by others) for all key meetings
(5) contribute to Finance Communications plans.
(6) When needed, take care of specific initiatives
The BM will be expected to have strong people skills, developing relationships with key stakeholders as well as all Finance colleagues. They will provide value through applying technical and commercial expertise, challenging where appropriate. He or she will also provide appropriate support to the Director's direct reports, acting as a first point of contact when appropriate.

- To support and lead on behalf of the Director's accountabilities across the function and wider CFO community
You will have:
- Experience of providing support to complex, diverse, ambiguous and projects
- Significant experience of influencing outcomes and managing relationships at senior level
- Experience of financial processes and controls
- Financially numeracy skills
- Experience of communicating and influencing effectively to a range of complex internal stakeholders
- Good understanding of Finance Function
