Business Support Analyst (Initial 6-Month Contract)
Location: Buckinghamshire

As a company driven by innovation and a dedication to safeguarding maritime interests, they are seeking a skilled Business Support Analyst to join their dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis.
As a Business Support Analyst, you will be a key contributor to the operational efficiency of their defence and maritime projects. Your role will involve analysing and refining business processes, providing technical support to internal stakeholders, and contributing to the overall success of their mission-critical initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a passion for optimising processes in a defence and maritime context.
Job Description
The Business Support Analyst will provide effective support to the engineering Vice President, on a day-to-day basis. This critical role will support the VP in driving transformation and change in the Engineering function.
The responsibilities listed below highlight the extent of the capabilities involved, but are not the full extent list:
Capable of producing performance metrics within the engineering environmentExperience of working closely with Senior Director VP and Senior Leadership TeamAbility to work in a dynamic team environmentAbility to work at a fast-paced environment and handle pressure wellAble to book and manage a busy schedule of interviews for all Engineering functions and disciplinesWorking closely within Engineering and HR to support retention strategiesWorking closely with enabling functions such as Finance and Human ResourcesSupporting the VP in generating a strategic roadmap for EngineeringCoordinating Engineering team briefsOrganising effective communications across the Engineering disciplineBuilding a close relationship with the first line managementReporting soft reports and building action plans on areas of improvementGenerating improvement and action plans on all SWOT analysis for EngineeringAbility to manage their own workload and be self-sufficient under the guidance of the Engineering VPChampion internal reward schemes to praise and recognise high performanceExcellent communication skills to interact with administrator colleaguesExpert level in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and WordCapable of producing PowerPoint presentations on own initiativeTo be creative and innovative and be mobile and able to work between sites
