Business Support Coordinator required for 12 month Maternity contract in Sheffield GBP24,000 - GBP28,000 DOE Your new company
A fantastic new vacancy has arisen working for one of our clients who are seeking to appoint a Business Support Coordinator for their office in Sheffield.
This position will start with immediate effect in December/ January and will be a 12-month maternity contract.

37.5 hours a week

Salary guide - based on experience GBP24,000 - GBP26,000
Your new role
This will be a busy role and will report to the Director of the business.
The main purpose of the role will be to provide Business Support administration to the company with additional duties to cover HR Admin and Health and Safety Admin tasks as part of the role also. This will be a busy role and would be well suited to someone who is extremely organised, methodical in approach and with proven business administration skills. Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate upon application the skills and experience to complete the duties and responsibilities of the role as outlined below;
- Document management and correspondence handling - production of reports, letter writing, support to the senior management team, formatting of documents
- Taking minutes in meetings and circulation of actions
- Production of reports / presentation of information in PowerPoint presentations
- Ordering of office stationery, general day-to-day office maintenance - reporting of issues and repairs coordination, checking and monitoring of staff timesheets
- Answering phone calls
- Customer service support where required
- Admin support on bid and proposal productions
- Involvement in organising staff socials
- Occasional social media site updates
- HR Administration duties- updating and management of job description duties and employee contracts, admin tasks associated with onboarding new staff
- Organising training and updating training files for employees
- Recording and monitoring staff holiday and absences
- Staff expense management prep for the Finance Manager
- Health and Safety Administration tasks - manage and document H&S information for the office, carry out monthly H&S inspections of the office eg regular fire alarm checks, check that staff H&S training is up to date
- Knowledge of MS Office to Intermediate level is required
- A good level of PowerPoint experience will be required
What you'll need to succeed
The successful applicant will ideally have held a similar role previously and be able to demonstrate this upon application
The successful applicant will be a proficient user of MS Office, articularly PowerPoint.
The successful applicant must be able to start in post in December 2023 / Jan 2024 and ideally not be on a long notice
