Business Support Manager.This is a home-based position which will require regular attendance to the Charities operating sites, which are all based within the North East, therefore access to your own transport (or Access to Work travel support if an applicant with disabilities) is essential.The Charity operates between 08.30 and 16.30 from Mondays to Thursdays and from 08.30 - 16.00 on Fridays.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe
Business Support Manager will be responsible for leading the Charity's Administrative team, consisting of three Business Administrators and also provide business administrative support to the Senior Leadership Team & act as Governance Officer for the Board of Trustees.You will also act as the central HR function, centralised procurement, IT and telecoms activities.
- Line Management of three Business Administrators including chairing meetings, setting tasks and leading on training to further develop skills
- Overseeing centralisation of administrative resources, supplier accounts and overseeing of Head Office/corporate supplies
- Manage the petty cash across the business and post payments for authorisation
- Assist the Senior Leadership Team in the submission of payroll data including holidays, starters and leavers and sickness absence
- Ensure data management systems including HR are maintained compliantly
- Leading HR Administration including recruitment processes, DBS and new starter checks and the extraction of reports from the HR portal
- Coordinate administrative tasks across Quality Assurance including policy reviews and brand compliance
- Support Board of Trustees and Senior Leadership Team with administrative support including day to day operations, strategic communications and governance compliance
Person Specification- 5 Years+ experience working within Business Administration
- Previous experience Line Managing team
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft 365
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience creating reports, agenda/minutes and correspondence
